If you want to add your own CSS Rules to the theme. We heavily recommend to use a so called Child Theme for that. Using a Child theme allows you to update the theme and at the same time you also make sure that you will never lose any of your modifications to a theme update.
Using a child theme is simple: Just download our demo child theme here and install it, as well as the original "Bee" Theme on your server. Instead of activating the Original Theme you activate the Child theme - "Bee Child Theme". Now if you want to add any custom css to your theme use the child themes style.css. If you want to add any custom php functions use the child themes functions.php.
Now if you update the original Theme with the latest Version, your child theme will stay in place with all your customizations.

To translate the static strings, if you aren't using WPML then I recommend downloading PO Edit, from Once you have installed please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the /bee/languages/ folder and duplicate the default.po file(If you want to tranlate the front end page, you could use default-frontend.po), then rename it to your desired language code. 2. Open the .po file in PO Edit, you will see all strings that need to be translated. Type the translation of a string into the "Translation" column. Do not delete or edit "Original string" part.
